Balearic Blessing Bliss!
If you are planning your Menorca wedding or vow renewals, and you need an English speaking Celebrant, let me know and I’ll see if I can help you.
I consider myself to have one of the best jobs in the world, but what makes it even better is being able to help people plan a wedding, or a celebration of love, in my second home; the magnificent island of Menorca.

Happy to point you in the direction of suitable venues whom I trust to deliver 100%! Having met many of them before, I can help see if your dream fits in with what they can offer.
Check out my Insta Stories for some shots of Menorca locations and weddings.

Having been blessed with a home there for over 35 years I can definitely help suggest suppliers too for various elements like photography, florists and so on…
Wherever you live, if in the UK we will try to meet in person atleast once. This is not always possible though so we can do all of our pre-ceremony planning via video call, WhatsApp groups and phone calls.

If you would like me to decorate your ceremony area, please let me know your thoughts and budget and I can arrange this for you.
This can include carpet, aisle decoration, chair decoration, arches and order of services.

From 2024 there will be a £200 travel expenses fee to add to the total cost.
Should I pay less than £200 for a flight and the cost of taxi transport from and to Es Mercadal, I will credit you the difference.
I have the pleasure of working with some great venues who are really helpful, check out the dreamy Club Menorca for stunning cliff top views. This venue offers a top level service for your ceremony, bar (cocktails!), catering and of course party under the stars!
Also, I would say have a peak at Bodegas Binifadet for vineyard weddings, and the gorgeous Black Marlin charters for a wedding at sea!

Of course, I’m more than happy to offer celebrant ceremonies in Menorca if the dates work, though if you are looking for more of a religious blessing I can introduce you to the lovely Paul from the church.
Muchos Besos!

Please note:
Civil ceremonies can only take place in Spain if either the bride or groom are residents for at least 2 years, so unless you plan on moving out to Spain and becoming an official resident prior to getting married, as a UK couple you can’t have a legal civil ceremony here. However, many people will have do the legal paperwork in a UK registry pre or post trip, and have a celebrant-led ceremony on the island.
However, if one or both of you are of the Catholic faith, you can legally marry in a Spanish Catholic Church. If this is the right option for you, start conversations with your priest at home who should be able to liaise with officials in Spain.
With a Celebrant-led Wedding Day, you can still have the Wedding of your dreams!

Menorca has no shortage of gorgeous places to stay, from rustic charm to stylish townhouses to full-on resort vibes. Here are a few favourites to get you started:

- Boutique town hotels – Cosy B&Bs nestled in picturesque spots like Es Mercadal, Alaior, and Mahón. Look up S’Antiga, Encant de Alaior, or Cristine Bedfor.

- Villas & apartments – Ideal for groups or longer stays. Try Airbnb, Vrbo, 3Villas, or Grupotel for apartment-style resorts.

Getting around Menorca
Other things to do
Menorca is a small but mighty island, and there are a few easy ways to get around during your stay.
Taxis are readily available, especially near airports and main towns. They’re reliable but can be pricey for longer distances, so it’s worth checking fares in advance.
Buses connect most towns and beaches, especially in summer. They’re a great budget-friendly option, though less frequent in rural areas. You can find routes and timetables on the official TMSA website.
Car hire is often the easiest and most cost-effective option if you’re staying for a couple of days or more and want flexibility. Most major rental companies are based at the airport, but you’ll often find better deals with operators just a 5-minute free shuttle away.
We recommend using DoYouSpain.com to compare rental options — it’s super handy for spotting the best deals in one place.
If you’ve made the trip to Menorca, why not soak up the island magic for a few extra days? Here are a few favourites to whet your appetite:
Wander through Ciutadella – cobbled streets, boutique shops, harbour views and sunset drinks await.
Visit Mahón (Maó) – the island’s capital, with a gin distillery, bustling markets, and a pretty port to explore.
Beach hop – discover hidden coves and crystal-clear waters like Cala Macarella, Cala Mitjana, and Son Bou.
Take a boat trip – sail along the coast, explore sea caves, or just float with a glass of fizz in hand.
Hike the Cami de Cavalls – this scenic coastal trail wraps around the island and offers epic views.
Enjoy long lunches and late dinners – Menorca is all about food and flavours. Try local seafood, sobrasada, and of course, a pomada (that’s gin + lemonade – you’re welcome).
